In making the deal Tuesday, the Bruins announced they gave up a third- and a conditional fourth-round selection in next year?s draft.

Wild Get Kobasew From Bruins For Weller, Fallstrom
The Minnesota Wild acquired right wing Chuck Kobasew from Boston on Sunday in a deal that sent right wings Craig Weller and Alexander Fallstrom to the Bruins, according to an Associated Press report.
The Wild also sent the rights to their second-round pick in the 2011 draft.
Blue Jackets Acquire LaVallee-Smotherman
The Columbus Blue Jackets have acquired left wing Jordan LaVallee-Smotherman from the Atlanta Thrashers in exchange for future considerations, club General Manager Scott Howson announced Thursday.
He was then assigned to the Syracuse Crunch, the club's American Hockey League affiliate.
LaVallee-Smotherman, 23, was Atlanta's fifth pick, 116th overall, in the 2005 Entry Draft. He has collected one goal and one assist for two points and is +1 in four career NHL games with the Thrashers and has spent most of the past three seasons playing with the AHL's Chicago Wolves.
